ELECTRONICS - AVC-R Boost Controller

The new generation of the A'PEX AVC-R (boost controller) is the ultimate boost controller in today's technology. It is the only boost controller on the market boasting an integrated injector pulse monitor. The AVC-R has been designed to increase boost response. (up to 1500 RPM in some applications).

The AVC-R is the only boost controller with an RPM specific "self learn" mode which allows the boost controller to memorize the boost characteristics of a particular vehicle and adjust the boost pressure accordingly. The new design of the AVC-R, the desired boost level and solenoid duty can be set according to engine RPM. It has 8 point adjustable boost level with 500 RPM increment setting points for different applications (drag or Track)

The AVC-R it has two preset boost levels to be stored in memory, which allows the user to choose between High or Low boost levels by switching between channels. By adding a scramble boost switch, the AVC-R allows the boost pressure to be increased or decreased for a certain amount of time.

To control boost, the AVC-R uses a high quality solenoid valve as opposed to a stepping motor. This is the same technology that was used on the turbo-charged Honda F-1 race cars. These solenoid valves are proven to control boost more accurately and are much sturdier in design and construction than a stepping motor.

The AVC-R uses the exclusive VFD (Vacuum Fluorescent Display) screen to display all values and graph, which reads out from the computer wire signal. In monitor mode, shows in analog meter faces, Y graph display, numerical display, Peak Hold and Replay mode.

Super AFC (Air Flow Converter) Entry level fuel computer designed to modify the air flow meter signal (pressure signal in some vehicle)

The second generation SUPER AFC in an upgraded package. The SUPER AFC is a vehicle specific fuel computer that modifies the air flow meter signal/pressure sensor signal and allows the user to either richen or lean the fuel mixture. Adjustment Ranges from +/- 50%. The Super AFC boasts an 8-point adjustable fuel curve with 500 RPM increment setting points. The Super AFC also allows the user to adjust fuel enrichment according to either LO/HI throttle positions. The AFC also cures the erratic idle problems associated with open atmosphere blow off valves on hot-wire flow meter equipped vehicles. Monitor Mode show analog meter face, Y graph display, Numerical display, Peak Hold, Replay Mode, 1 point/10 point and ghost map tracing. All correction factors are also displayed in percentages.

All values and graphs are displayed through the exclusive VFD (Vacuum Fluorescent Display) screen.
